The sociological research dilemma between the necessity of objectivity and the power of ideology

The objectivity has received significant attention in the humanities and social sciences. Researchers positions between being supportive or opposed to the researchers presence and ideology. Sociological knowledge cannot be produced in isolation from societal issues. If objectivity is a noble goal, can one imagine sociological knowledge that is purely objective and free from ideological backgrounds? The research a comprehensive scientific perspective in sociological research that reconciles between objectivity as a necessary requirement for understanding the reality of social phenomena, and ideology as a hidden power that directs the thinking and behavior of both the researcher and the researched. It proposes conditions under which solid sociological knowledge can be produced if an ideological, critical, skeptical perspective is adopted
