Renewing the religious discourse at Abdolkarim Soroush. A critical approach to religion and religiosity
Keywords:
Renewal, religion, religiosity, religious knowledge, religious pluralismAbstract
The renewal of Islamic thought has become a duty of thinkers, because human civilization has reached the extent that contemporary Muslims can not be reconciled with the logic of heritage thinking, and in this problem, Abdolkarim Soroush, one of the modern Islamic innovators, sees the need to modernize our understanding of religion and religiosity, Because religion according to him means stability and silence, but religiosity means change and flexibility and renewal, and thus can not be praised for the possession of the truth, or belonging to the surviving group, but Islam with its globalized conclusion shows two pillars: the development of religious knowledge as other human knowledge, and believing to a religious pluralism, and this is the challenge of the absolute approval of the divine religion to the relative human religiosity
