Abstract

There is a wide debate about the choice of the appropriate approach in scientific research. Many researchers resort to quantitative research in order to measure the logic of measurement and interpretation because of the accuracy of this type of research, while there is a tendency towards qualitative research in order to understand and analysis since this type addresses the description Different aspects of research gives results closer to understanding reality. Researchers who seek qualitative research believe that real knowledge lies in describing the phenomenon while quantitative research relates to the interpretation of the phenomenon by turning it into abstract numbers. In this study, we will attempt to present the most important differences between quantitative research and qualitative research and highlight the importance of combining the two types of research to enrich scientific research on the one hand and enhance the validity of the results obtained on the other
