A useful manual for the methodology of scientific research

This article tries to provide students and researchers with a brief glossary of the methodology of scientific research mainly because methodology of research, as important as it is, is rarely given enough attention in educational institutions and research institutes, which poses a problem for students and their supervisors in general. This article is an attempt to make research acceptable both in form and content. The article in hand summarizes the most important scientific research bases, rules and writing steps. It sheds light on the different qualities that help the researcher, such as patience, self-confidence, honesty, objectivity and the ability to criticize and analyze. The article also refers to some common scientific research methods: the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental method. It states some practical steps of scientific research, namely, the search for a valid subject for research, it also determines some valid criteria for the subject of research, which are novelty and interest, and it stresses the importance of the search for a valid topic for research that mainly include the maintenance of reading, vigilance, interest in addition to the constant questioning of specialists. The second step is collection, documentation, classification and analysis of materials. The most important thing to consider in the third step is the editing of the research in terms of the writing style, design of the research, its title and the coordination of its parts, as well as the important elements in both the introduction and conclusion of the research
