Social capital and its role in achieving sustainable social development

Abstract

Putnam writes in one of his writings that "a group whose members are trustworthy and trust each other will be more capable of achievement than other groups that lack confidence among themselves. From this point of view, the concept of social capital emerged with the writings of "Tocqviell" and "Lida Hanifan".
