No one interested in philosophical thought in general, as well as in social sciences, especially sociology, can deny the intellectual and philosophic position occupied by pragmatism as a philosophical and practical theory, or rather as a self-taught school, mainly due to the theoretical and field cognitive momentum that has left behind, People day this. Perhaps this is what prompted us as sociologists to find out about this school, trying to demonstrate its impact on another equally important school: the Chicago School, or rather its impact on urban sociology in general.
