The intellectual in the Arab world and the future challenges

Abstract

This article aims at shedding light on the state of the intellectual in the Arab world and the most important challenges facing him. The article presented in its beginning the most important concepts related to culture and the cultured. Then we distinguished between internal challenges that the intellectual tries to overcome or cope with, that is, human resource, crisis of values, language and thought, political power. As for external matters, the article covered three main points: globalization, media and communication technologies, cultural invasion. Finally, as a conclusion, we propose a way out of these difficulties.
