The Algerian public economic enterprise: the quest of searching the identity and failure in achieving the development

Abstract

The public economic enterprise is the essential pillar in the overall national economy, and in achieving the development, thus, the Algerian state considers it an effective means for achieving the development. These enterprises witnessed political, economic, and social sircumstances that shaped their structure, and it went in steps in this period, they had many political, economic and organizational attempts, in each attempt they look for the appropriate identity that enables the development in several sections, what are we trying to prove through this research is distinguishing the sircumstances in which the Algerian public economic enterprise was created, and the important role it plays in this situation and the reasons of its failure
