This paper seeks to shed light on the history of Islam in its relationship with Christianity, which is a distinct relationship because of the proximity of the time between the Message of Islam and the Message of Jesus Christ, peace be upon him. Hence, Islam has tended to show Christians facts of their religion and the origins of their belief, and to clarify the deviant beliefs, and the principles and misconceptions that intervened to Christianity, as well as preparing their souls to accept Islam and believe in its Mission. Islam has also tried reveal the cliché about Islam and Muslims in the Western consciousness, where the influence of Islam was significant in various fields of European life during the Middle Ages, and how Muslims today look to the West
