Abstract

This research aims to identify the social, cultural, and cultural stakes of citizenship education by using sociological analysis and understanding the social actions leading to co-existence through interaction. And communication between individuals, groups and societies Citizenship education aims to achieve solidarity and participation, which are embodied in the individual and collective symbols, values, and behaviors of the various social actors and the meaning that these actors - individuals - institutions give to their actions in order to symbolize the values of citizenship through what is called social responsibility. In fact, individuals with their different positions and roles contribute to Achieving comprehensive citizenship in its various dimensions. Therefore, citizenship education is a sociological and cultural object in order to create common values that are accepted and understood within society and among human societies within the context of local citizenship and global citizenship. The principal education goals are to achieve global citizenship, which requires cooperation, tolerance, peace, and respect for other cultures
