The research seeks to monitor the reality and future of fertility and its determinants of it in Palestinian society. It will constitute an important source for formulating population development policies and sustainable planning for them, and the scarcity of reports and research on the development of fertility in Palestine was a reason for presenting this research. It depends on the descriptive approach, which collects data, facts, and information. It also relied on the analytical method of census data (1997, 2007, and 2017) and analysis of PCBS's health and household survey; to derive and draw conclusions for the research. By using the comparative approach with the Arab countries and the neighboring or developing countries in addition to the developed countries to show the reality of Palestine with the surrounding countries. Various studies and references that included fertility-related topics are used. It concluded that the fertility level of Palestinian women is declining due to several demographic, social, and economic factors. Moreover, it is the highest compared with surrounding countries. The total fertility rate of Palestinian women in 1997 reached 6.0 births and then decreased to 5.9 births in 1999. It declines during 2011-2013 to 4.1 births, and to 3.9 births during 2017-2019. In the future, at the lowest expectations, it will reach 2.08 births in 2040-2045
