Social Mobility in The Egyptian Drama A sociocultural study of the cleric's profession in the TV series "Ghamam Island"

Sociologists have been interested in studying Social Mobility since the beginning of the 20th century, and some consider it synonymous with professional mobility. It became clear through the research that the cleric's profession is one of the professions that comes at the top of the social hierarchy, through the analysis of the TV series "Ghamam Island", which portrayed the conflict between the cleric's profession and the ruler's profession and their need for each other. Social Mobility is the dynamic aspect of the study of stratification. The TV series also portrayed the different patterns of religiosity, which are similar to religiosity in the daily life of Egyptians now, as it was proven true of Voltaire's satire "Candide" showing the 3 types of religious officials
